Great location near the main square and not too far from the bus station. Friendly and accommodating staff were the best aspects of my Easter trip. , I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy good WiFi signal throughout my room. The air conditioning worked well when it was on.

The hotel was in terrible condition with dusty curtains, mold around the sink, and dirty walls in the hallway. The room had roaches, stained pillowcases, and yellow stains on pillows.

The location of Oyo Hotel Totonacapan in Papantla was very convenient, just two blocks away from the main plaza. The room I stayed in was large and spacious, and it was cleaned daily by the hotel staff. Taxis were readily available at the front door, making it easy for me to explore the city. Despite the hot weather in Papantla, I didn't have any issues with not having hot water in the bathroom. The hotel also had a reliable internet connection, which worked well most of the time. The staff members were friendly and helpful, and one of them even spoke excellent English. They assisted me in finding the colectivos that depart to El Tajin, which was something other locals had denied existed. I had a comfortable stay at this hotel.
